Here are three beef jerky marinade recipe ideas:
Basic Beef Jerky
o 4 tbsp soy sauce
o 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
o 1 tbsp tomato sauce
o 1/4 tsp black pepper
o 2 cloves garlic
o 1/2 tsp salt
o 1 tbsp grated root ginger
o 1 tbsp curry powder
Sweet and Sour Jerky
o 1 tsp salt
o 1/4 tsp pepper
o 1/2 tsp onion powder
o 1 garlic clove (crushed)
o 3 tbsp brown sugar
o 1 tbsp soy sauce
o 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
o 1/4 cup pineapple juice
Teriyaki Marinade
o 15-20 oz. Soy Sauce
o 15 oz. Worcestershire Sauce
o 15-20 oz. Teriyaki sauce
o 2-4 tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar
o 2-4 tablespoons Garlic Powder
o 2-4 tablespoons Onion Powder
o 2-4 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
o 5 oz. bottle Liquid Smoke
o 2-4 oz. Dark Corn Syrup or Molasses for even more flavor
Directions for all three marinades:
1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients (except meat). Mix well.
2. Place meat three or four layers deep in a container, spooning beef jerky marinade mixture over each layer.
3. Cover tightly.
4. Marinate six to 12 hours in the refrigerator, stirring occasionally.
5. Make your jerky!
